For this assignment you are to write an expository essay on a concept of social impact. What we would like you to pursue here is the topic of leadership and social impact and the decisions that leaders need to make to lead in a thoughtful way. In your paper consider the following elements.

· Component 1: Explanation/Definition: Please define what leading for social impact means. Be specific in utilizing both referenced from the book and beyond.

· Component 2: The Leadership Challenge: In this next section please thoroughly describe why leading for social impact can be particularly difficult. Why is it challenging? What things must leaders consider in order to be effective?

· Component 3: Remedies and Rationale: For section three, we would like you to articulate a rationale for overcoming these hindrances. Why is it especially essential today to lead with social impact? Please provide example and once again utilize your references thoughtfully to make your case.

You will use the text as your guide, but you will also use outside research. Your essay should be 1850- words and should include at least four (4) citations. The sections should be clearly marked with headings so that your instructor knows which points you are addressing. Follow the guidelines for APA writing style. The title page and references page do not count towards the minimum word amount for this assignment.
